Hello
I'm Grant, a senior at Carrboro High School.
I was born and raised in Chapel Hill, NC. My favorite things to do in my spare time involve mountain biking, running, splitting firewood, volunteering removing invasives, and getting to know new people.

My main interests are; conservation biology and forest management, with an emphasis on wildlife habitat improvement.
The goal of this website is not to get business- it is to spread awareness! Even if you don’t do any work through me, if you learn and care about natives that’s a success!

My Story
During my childhood, I went on many hikes and found my natural love for trees and nature. Later, after living next to the Army Corps of Engineers lands, I noticed a grass was taking over (stilt grass), which is how I first learned about invasives. I then learned about natives through a neighbor planting them in our cul-de-sac.
My passion ultimately led me to an Arbor Day festival in Cary, where I got a job removing invasive species. Around the same time, I also went down to a native nursery and asked for ways I could help out, which eventually became a job as well.

If you want to meet people who are also into plants and the outdoors you've come to the right place! I plan to organize meetups for clients to get to know each other!

Whatever your price range is- there is no work too small for me! Whether it be planting a single native, or transforming your front yard into a wildlife paradise, I am excited to help out!
